What was once a struggling lawn has been transformed into a vibrant, flourishing garden spanning over 400 square metres of carefully curated ornamental planting. During construction, the discovery of a well presented a unique opportunity, and the design was thoughtfully adapted to incorporate this historic feature as an active water storage point, supporting sustainable irrigation throughout the garden. The garden’s layout thoughtfully frames long views into the surrounding fields, creating a sense of openness and connection to the landscape beyond. Closer to home, intimate garden corners invite quiet moments of reflection and relaxation.

Planted in Spring 2023, the garden offers interest through all seasons. At its heart lies a bold, perennial-inspired planting scheme, featuring an uninhibited colour palette that celebrates the generosity that a garden can offer. Towards the perimeter of the garden, a shrub focused planting provides rich autumn hues and winter structure, showcasing plants chosen for their striking stems, flowers, and form even in the colder months. The result is a garden that feels both dynamic and thoughtful. Rooted in place, yet lively throughout the year.
